In just an over an hour, Linda and I begin teaching an all-day course on Reaching the World: Local, National, and Global Evangelism. I wanted to send off a quick note of praise and to ask for your prayers.
This past week has been our Local Outreach Emphasis week at the school. Pastor Jeff Bennett from Harbour Fellowship Church has been our guest preacher. He did a fantastic job reminding us from Luke 10 that the harvest is plentiful and that we are commissioned by Jesus to pray and then go with the good news of Christ.
It’s been exciting to see the way our students are responding to the call to pray and go. They’ve gone to share the message and love of Jesus on the streets and in the neighbourhoods around the Heritage. We are seeing God raise up a generation of gospel-hearted men and women. Praise Him.
Here are a few prayer requests for the coming week.
1 Please pray that the Lord would continue to stir in our hearts a desire to bring the gospel of Christ to those around us. May we see a generation of students move into ministry with a passion for spreading the good news of salvation through repentant faith in Christ Jesus.
2. Please pray for Linda and me as we teach and lead the Reaching the World Course today and tomorrow. We have an amazing list of speakers Zooming in from around the world to speak to the students. Pray for life-shaping impact on all who attend.
