Praise and Prayer Update (May 29, 2026)

Linda and I are praising the Lord for His goodness in the safe arrival of our newest grandchild: Lily Hannah Reed (born to our oldest son and his wife). We were able to be with them shortly after Lily’s arrival. It was a joyful time for all of us.

Now we are back in Canada, getting ready for several ministry opportunities. We’d welcome your prayers for these upcoming events.

Women’s Conference. Tonight, Linda speaks at a Women’s Conference hosted by Hope Bible Church in Niagara. The conference theme is “In Him.” Linda’s two sessions focus on what the Bible says to women about living as godly women in today’s culture. Please pray that God will use these sessions to spiritually strengthen the lives of the women who attend.

Pastors’ Conference. Next Monday through Thursday, Rick will be speaking at the FEB Central Pastors’ Conference. His four messages will draw lessons from the life and ministry of Ezra. Please pray for physical strength and spiritual impact. It’s a privilege to serve the Lord by serving a group of His pastoral servants.

Let me leave you with a verse that has encouraged my heart in recent weeks. “Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love him and show myself to him” (John 14:21). Here is Jesus’ promise to draw near to all who love Him and follow His Word. May this be true of each of us.
