It’s been another full and fruitful week here at Heritage. I (Rick) had the joy of speaking several times to gatherings of students, answering questions related to assurance of salvation and dealing with difficult theological issues. At our Tuesday chapel, Linda spoke to the women students (more on that tomorrow) and I spoke to the men. What a joy to teach young men and women who are eager to learn God’s Word so they can serve Him with their lives. We love being here at Heritage College and Seminary.
Here are several prayer requests for this weekend and the coming week.
Preaching on Sunday. This Sunday, I (Rick ) will be preaching at Temple Baptist Church in Cambridge. The church is going through the book of Job and I’ve been asked to cover Job 8-9. Please pray that God will use His Word to shape the loves of all who come.
Arts Week at Heritage. Next week is Arts Week at Heritage College. Students explore and celebrate how they can use their God-given creativity for kingdom purposes. Ask the Lord to give our students a grander vision for how they can use their creative abilities.
More students to train. We are actively seeking more students to train for life and ministry. If you know of a person who wants quality, biblical training to better serve Christ in vocational or volunteer ministries, please point them our way. We are receiving applications for this summer and next fall. You can find more information here.
