As we come to the end of our second week of this winter semester, I’m rejoicing in God’s strengthening grace. Last week I asked you to pray for wisdom, protection, resilience, and impact. God has been answering your prayers! Thank you for standing (or kneeling) with us!
Here are some immediate areas for prayer for the days ahead.
Today, I (Rick) teach an all-day course on Pastoral Leadership. I’m excited to train a dozen sharp students who have strong spiritual leadership potential. Please ask the Lord to enable me to equip them well for the ministry assignments the Lord has for them.
Tomorrow (Saturday), Linda teaches a dozen women in a course called “Women Teaching God’s Word.” Linda has a deep desire to train women to teach God’s Word to other women. Please pray for the impact of the course on these students.
Tuesday, I (Rick) have the privilege of preaching in our virtual chapel. My message, taken from Isaiah 40, will focus on finding God’s strength when we get weary and worn down. Please pray for me as I preach. By the way, you can watch our chapel services live on Tuesdays at 11:30 using this link. You can also use this link to see previously recorded chapel services.
On Wednesday and Thursday, our Heritage Board meets for an important Strategic Vision Session. Please ask the Lord to give us His wisdom and courage as we move forward by faith in the mission He has entrusted to us. I sense God has an enlarged assignment for the school. We need Him to guide and provide!
Thank you for praying. It makes a BIG difference!
