Linda and I are back home after some weeks in New England. We had some delightful days at Rhode Island beaches with grandkids and enjoyed walking in the woods at Lincoln Woods State Park. Now we are home again for ministry opportunities here in Ontario.
I wanted to send a quick update to ask for your prayer support in several key areas.
Preaching at Hope Niagara. For the next two Sundays, I’ll be preaching at Hope Bible Church Niagara. They are working through the powerful book of 2 Timothy this summer. This Sunday’s message, from 2 Timothy 3:10-17, is on “How to Stay Faithful and Be Useful in Difficult Days.” Please ask the Lord to use His Word to strengthen the lives of all who come.
ESL Ministry Preparation. Linda is gearing up to help lead a training day for ESL (English as a Second Language) teachers and leaders. The training day will be held at Grandview Church in Kitchener on September 12th from 1:00 to 4:00. I’d also ask you to pray for Linda as she prepares to train others for this front-line gospel ministry.
