Thank you to all who prayed for Linda last week as she taught an all-day course on Great Women of the Faith. It was an engaging day of looking at women of faith from the Old and New Testaments.
I’ve also been enjoying teaching a preaching course to college and seminary students. For a number of years, I’ve sensed a calling to train pastors to serve Christ’s Church and His global mission. Serving at Heritage has given a wonderful place to do this.
Here are a few requests I would ask you to remember this week.
Sunday Preaching. This Sunday, I (Rick) am preaching at Bethel Baptist Church in Strathroy. Please ask the Lord to let me present the truth from His Word to this congregation in a faithful and fruitful way.
ESL Classes. Linda is leading a TESOL Class (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) at Heritage this fall. To gain experience, the Heritage students work with new Canadians to teach them English and point them to the hope found in Jesus. Pray for Linda as she trains students for this important ministry.
