Life at Heritage is quieter these days. Summer courses are in session, but the residence halls are empty. After a full and fruitful year, it’s a nice change of pace. But we are already looking forward to next fall and the start of a new school year.
This week I have several prayer requests to ask you to remember. Some for the school and one for Linda’s health.
Fall enrollment. Please join us in praying that the Lord would continue to direct new students to Heritage to be trained for life and ministry. Jesus told us the harvest is ripe but the workers are few (Matthew 9:37). Pray that the Lord of the Harvest would send us students who want to be workers in God’s harvest field.
Fiscal Year End. June 30th marks the end of our fiscal year at Heritage. We recently sent out our Spring/Summer newsletter that highlighted the impact the school is making. It also invited friends of the school to invest in the work of Heritage College and Seminary. Please pray that we would see a generous response and finish the fiscal year in a strong financial position. If you would like to contribute to the ministry of the school, you can do so here.
Site Plan Approval. We’ve submitted the site plan for the new seminary building to the city of Cambridge. As you can imagine, the process of getting city approval can take longer than we’d like. Please pray for an expedited process and favour with city planners.
Linda’s health. Linda recently spent a day in the emergency room after waking up with a blasting headache and numbness in her arm. Doctors ordered a CT scan and a spinal tap. Both came back clear–for which we thank the Lord. This weekend, she’s wearing a ECG monitor to check out her heart. Please pray for God’s sustaining and strengthening grace.
Thank you for praying for us and with us. We know that God hears and answers prayers according to His will.
