Last Friday I asked you to pray for me as I taught an all-day class on Pastoral Leadership. I also asked you to pray for an ESL gathering that Linda and I were hosting (online) on Sunday evening. Thank you so much for supporting us through your prayers. The class and the ESL gathering went well. We are trusting the Lord for spiritual fruit from these ministry opportunities.
Here are several key prayer requests for the coming week:
COVID Challenges. We have several students in our dorms who are quarantining after testing positive for the virus. Thankfully, everyone is doing well at this time. Please pray for the Lord’s grace and protection as we move through the semester.
Mark and Theresa Beach. Over the past months, I’ve asked you to join us in praying for Mark Beach (the husband of our registrar, Theresa) Mark remains in hospital after contracting COVID last spring. At this time, the doctors hope to move him out of ICU and begin the process of preparing him for going home (in a wheelchair). It’s been a long road for Mark and Theresa. Please continue to pray for healing grace, for physical and emotional strength, and for the Lord’s peace on their lives.
Heritage Board Meeting. Next Wednesday, January 26, our Heritage Board is meeting online for our quarterly gathering. There are several important matters up for discussion. Ask the Lord to give wisdom and insight to our Board as they oversee the ministry of the school. I’m thankful for the godly men and women who serve the Lord as members of our Board.
New Seminary Building. Plans continue to develop for the construction of a new seminary building. It’s been exciting to watch the design take shape. (see picture below). Please ask the Lord to continue to move in hearts of friends of the school to invest in this strategic project. You can learn more about the capital campaign on this website: heritageforcanada.ca.
