On Thursday, October 14, Heritage will once again host our annual preaching lectures. The preaching lectures are driven by our desire to encourage and equip those who preach and teach God’s Word, stretching and strengthening them for their important work.
This year we are privileged to welcome Dr. Darrell Johnson as our guest presenter. Dr. Johnson has served as a pastor and preaching professor for decades. Currently, he teaches at Regent College in Vancouver.
He will be joining us by livestream starting at 9:00 a.m. and running through 1:00 p.m.
Last spring I read Dr. Johnson’s excellent book, The Glory of Preaching. I found it so helpful I decided to use it this year as one of the textbooks for our preaching courses at Heritage.
