In our December 5th Praise and Prayer Update, I asked you to pray for some upcoming ministry opportunities, especially in light of the health challenges we were facing.
I’m writing today to report how God graciously helped us “through your prayers” (2 Corinthians 1:11).
We were both able to finish our Heritage courses with joy. In fact, on the final day of class, students from Linda’s Women’s Ministry course and from my Preaching course gathered together in the Fireside Room of the new seminary building. We sang our praises to God and I had the joy of praying for these students as they serve the Lord. It was a wonderful wrap up to our time of teaching at Heritage.
I also invited you to pray for Linda and her Heritage students as they hosted a Christmas Celebration for the new Canadians who come each week to the ESL Classes. At the Christmas Celebration, the message of Christmas was explained and BIbles were given out to each one in their own language. Thanks for praying for this significant outreach ministry.
Through it all, our health held up. Linda recovered from the bug she was fighting and I never came down with it. That was the grace of God.
I’ll post some new prayer requests for 2026 in the coming weeks. Today, my desire is to THANK YOU for being part of our lives and ministries through your faithful prayers for us.
May the Joy of knowing our Saviour has come move your hearts to praise and worship this Christmas.
