A few weeks back, I asked you to pray with us about some upcoming ministry opportunities Linda and I were anticipating. I (Rick) was scheduled to speak at a men’s conference and also invited to train a group of pastors in the area of preaching. Thank you for praying! I sensed God’s strengthening power as I presented His Word.
I’m writing today to once again invite your prayer support as we step into a full weekend of teaching.
Linda speaks at a women’s retreat this weekend for Faith Mission Canada. She’s actually speaking at women’s retreats for the next three weekends. Please pray for strength, stamina, and fruitfulness. Ask the Lord to impact the lives of the women who attend through Linda’s teaching of God’s Word.
This Sunday, I begin a six-week series at Grandview Church in Kitchener. The series is entitled, Good Riddance: Getting Rid of Sinful Baggage. In the coming weeks, I’ll be walking the folks at Grandview through the life-changing truth found in Romans 6-8. This is a section of Scripture I’ve been soaking up for 40 years. I’m excited to teach what I’ve learned; however, I know that without the Spirit of God’s help, nothing of eternal significance will happen. So I’m asking you to help me through your prayers. Ask the Lord to use these messages in powerful ways.
