We are heading down the home stretch of the semester at Heritage College and Seminary. Both Linda and I are grateful to the Lord for the way He’s allowed us to invest in the lives of students through teaching our courses.
Linda’s TESOL course (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) has been a joy as she watches students use what they are learning to help new Canadians come to know English and get to know the gospel. I’m also finding joy in seeing young preachers grow in handling God’s Word faithfully and effectively.
This next week is full of speaking opportunities in Cambridge, the GTA, Barrie, and Ottawa. I’d ask you to pray that the Lord may be honoured and people strengthened in their faith. Here’s a listing of what’s scheduled.
Saturday, November 18th: Rick speaks at the Impactus Men’s Conference in Burlington. Pray that the hearts of men would be impacted by the truth of God’s Word related to Steadfast Commitments.
Sunday, November 19th: Rick preaches at Emmanuel Barrie on Romans 6:15-23.
Tuesday, November 21: Rick preaches at the Heritage chapel service.
Thursday, November 23: Rick speaks at a ministry leaders lunch in Ottawa hosted by the Canadian Bible Society. That evening, Rick speaks at a fund raising dessert for One Way Ministries in Ottawa.
On the family side, we’d ask for your prayers for safe travels as we drive to see our newest grandson, Noah, near Boston.
