This past Tuesday we had our Convocation service at Heritage. We launched the school year with a service of worship and celebration. It was a wonderful time of praising God in song and hearing His Word preached by Pastor John Mahaffey. Once again, the Lord has sent some stellar students to be trained for life and ministry.
As we head into the weekend, here are several prayer requests I’d ask you to remember.
Linda’s Course. Tomorrow (Saturday), Linda teaches an all-day class on Great Women of the Faith. She is teaming up with Dr. Michael Haykin to co-teach this course. Pray for stamina for LInda and spiritual impact on the lives of each student who attends.
Student Workers. Pray that the Lord would continue to raise up workers for His harvest field (Matthew 9:38). We are training students to be involved in ministry for Christ. But in light of the need of the churches in Canada, ask the Lord to raise up more to be equipped and sent out.
New Seminary Building: It’s been a joy to see the new seminary building begin to take shape. The foundations are almost completed. Soon the structure will go upward. How grateful I am for all who are financially supporting this important venture. Please pray that progress continues so that the building will be built on time and on budget. Pray that needed funds will come in. (If you would like to invest in this project and help us reach our fundraising goal–we still need about 1 million dollars–you can donate here.)

Thank you for joining us in prayer.
