My Most Joyful Moment at Heritage

In my ten years at Heritage, I have experienced many joyful moments—talking with students on campus, worshipping the Lord in chapel services, and training young preachers in homiletics courses.

Still, my most joyful moment happens each year at our graduation ceremonies. I am overjoyed as I stand on the platform and look at the faces of college and seminary graduates.

When I look at each of these men and women, I see bright hope for the future of the Church.

It happened again this year. On Saturday, April 29th, we celebrated the 87 students who successfully completed a degree or certificate program at Heritage. Each graduate will serve the Lord Jesus in ministry and marketplace settings in Ontario, across Canada, and around the globe.

This year marks an important milestone for the school—our 30th anniversary. For three decades, Heritage has prepared spiritual leaders to serve Christ’s Church and his global mission. With the addition of this year’s class, Heritage has now graduated 1668 college and seminary students in the past 30 years—take a moment to think of the combined kingdom impact represented by these graduates.

I know many of you who read these words see the strategic and valuable role Heritage plays in serving churches
in Canada and beyond. For this reason, I’m happy to invite you to continue supporting this vital work through your faithful prayers and generous donations. As we approach our fiscal year end on June 30th, I ask that you please consider investing again in the ministry of Heritage College and Seminary.

At this point we need about $150,000 by the end of the month to finish the year in a strong, financial position. If you are able to help and would like to invest in the work of the school, you can do so here. I’d ask you to pray that the Lord would provide our needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

Your support helps us continue to support Christ’s Church.
