On this week when we commemorate Remembrance Day, I want to give thanks to God for the privilege of living in Canada. I’m grateful for the men and women who have served (or currently serve) in the Canadian Forces. Their sacrifice helps protect our freedoms.
We are finishing up our Local Outreach Week at Heritage. It’s a joy to see students going out to serve the community through acts of kindness (our Leaf Blitz) and door-to-door witnessing. God is allowing Heritage to shape gospel-hearted men and women.
Here are some prayer requests for the coming week.
This Sunday I have the privilege to preach at James Street North Church in Hamilton. In addition to the two morning services, in the afternoon, I will be preaching (through an interpreter) at the Karen Baptist Church that is part of their wider ministry. Please ask the Lord to fill me with HIs Spirit in order to preach His Word at these service.
On Wednesday afternoon, our Heritage Board will gather on campus for our quarterly meeting. Please ask the Lord to give wisdom and strength to the men and women who serve on our Board and Advisory Council. They are a wonderful support to me and to our school.
On Thursday, Linda and I will co-teach a class on outreach for our first year Heritage students. Please ask the Lord to use us to shape these young lives for Christ’s mission in the world.
Thank you for praying for us!
