While the weather in Southern Ontario feels like mid-summer, all of us at Heritage College and Seminary are thinking “fall.” There’s a flurry of activity on our campus as we prepare for the arrival of students. Our Tech Team is making sure all our classrooms are prepared for live and “live stream” courses. Our Student Services team is finalizing plans for Move-In Day (Labour Day). Our professors are finalizing lesson plans and assignments for upcoming courses. It’s a busy, but joyful time.
I would welcome your prayers for Heritage in the following areas:
Pray for our Student Leaders who arrive on campus this Sunday evening. They have a week of training before we welcome all the new and returning students. Ask the Lord to prepare and empower the Student Leaders to serve as godly examples for the rest of the students. These student leaders help set the spiritual tone on campus.
Pray for spiritual and physical protection for our campus. We are continuing to follow safety guidelines from the provincial authorities in the light of COVID 19 threats. Last year, the Lord allowed our campus to remain COVID free. Please pray for His protection once again this year.
Please continue to pray for Dr. Stan (and Donna) Fowler and Mark and Theresa Beach. Stan and Donna are now back in Canada, which is a big answer to prayer. Both Stan and Mark remain in ICU. Ask the Lord to restore these two godly men and to strengthen their wives and extended families.
