I want to thank all of you who prayed for Linda and me as we spoke at a Young Married’s Conference last Saturday. It was a joyous time to be with couples who want to honour the Lord in their marriage. We also enjoyed stopping for a picnic dinner along the shores of Lake Ontario before the sessions began.
Let me highlight a few prayer requests to bring to God’s throne this week.
Please keep praying for more College and Seminary students to invest at least a year at Heritage growing deeper in their knowledge of God and His Word. I’m convinced that those who come to Heritage will be better equipped to stand for Christ in a world where biblical truth is under relentless attack.
On Saturday, Linda teaches an all-day class for women who want to grow as teachers of God’s Word to other women. Pray that Linda will be a good mentor and coach for each woman in the course.
On Tuesday, I will preach a message from Isaiah 53 about Christ’s sacrificial death on the cross. Please pray that the Lord will use the message to deepen our worship and devotion as we prepare for Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
