As I write this update on Friday morning, our hearts are rejoicing in God’s goodness to our family. Just a few minutes ago, our oldest son, Ryan, and his wife, Jenny, had their second child: Josiah Peter Reed. We are thrilled that the Lord gave them a safe and healthy delivery. You can be sure that Grandma Reed (Linda) is already longing to be there to hold him!
Would you join in praying for Ryan and Jenny as they adjust to an expanded family. Also, Ryan is applying for teaching positions at various Bible colleges and Christian schools. Please join us in asking the Lord to open the right door for Ryan.
As far as praise and prayer for Heritage, I’m grateful to report that yesterday, March 4th, we hosted an online version of annual Ministry Leadership Day. This year Dr. Mike Pawelke, who serves as the President at Briercrest College and Seminary, was our guest presenter. Mike served us well through his messages on the stages of leadership and the crucial importance of good judgment. Here are two specific Heritage prayer requests I’d ask you to pray about this week:
Our President’s Building Advisory Team is in the process of selecting a project manager to oversee the construction of a new home for the seminary on our campus. Please pray that the Lord gives us discernment and direction to partner with the right company.
Please continue to pray that March would prove to be a big month in our college admissions. We are asking the Lord to send us many young men and women to train for life and ministry. If you know of young adults who should consider Heritage, please let me know and we will follow up with them.
