In just a few hours, Linda and I will be teaching a modular course on Reaching the World: Local, National, and Global Evangelism. We are excited to teach students with a deep desire to live out and give out the gospel–the good news of what God has done through the life, death and resurrection of Jesus (1 Cor 15:1-8). Please pray for spiritual strength and physical stamina as we teach over the next two days (using Zoom). Ask the Lord to help our students (and help us) bring the message of Christ to those around us and also to people around the world.
Yesterday, my (Rick) mother was rushed to the hospital in Portland, Oregon. I’m grateful she is doing a bit better and that my sisters live close enough to be with her. But our hearts are torn as we wish we could be with her. Would you join us in praying she would get relief from her pain and sense the Lord’s nearness.
Thank you for praying for us and with us. We echo the words of Paul in 1 Corinthians 1:11: “You also must help us by prayer, so that many will give thanks on our behalf for the blessing granted us through the prayers of many.”
