Praise and Prayer Update (November 13, 2025)

I want to thank those of you who prayed for us over the past few weeks of ministry. We sensed and saw wonderful answers to your prayers.

The courses we are teaching at Heritage have continued to be an encouragement to us and to the students we are training for Christ’s service.

My (Rick) time in Edmonton at a Pastor’s Conference was rich and meaningful. I spoke four times on Paul’s pattern for pastoral ministry. My heart was moved by the faithful work being done by pastors and wives across the prairies of Canada.

The TESOL course Linda leads has seen amazing answers to prayer. Today several of the friends who came to learn English were introduced to the good news about the Saviour who loves and forgives all who believe in Him. God is sending people with open hearts.

Here are a few prayer requests I’d ask you to remember as you pray for us in the coming days.

Next Level Celebration. On Saturday (November 15), I (Rick) am speaking at the 25th Anniversary Celebration for Next Level Ministries. This ministry excels connecting Christians in men’s and women’s groups. Those involved are helped to move to the next level in their spiritual growth in Christ. I’ll be speaking on The Shaping Power of Spiritual Friendships.

Ordination Service. On Sunday, November 16th, I’ll be preaching at WestVillage Church in Ottawa. It’s a very special Sunday as the church ordains Matthew Gagnier, one of our Heritage alumni. I’ll be preaching on Approved Ministers (from 2 Corinthians 11).

Please pray for safety in travel and impact in ministry. As Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 1:11: “you help us by prayer”. Thank you so much for praying for us and with us.
