When It’s Your Turn to Grieve

Grief doesn’t discriminate; it comes to all of us sooner or later.  Whenever death comes, grief follows closely behind.

Although no one gets a pass from tasting the salty tears of grief, it is still possible to find hope in the midst of loss. In fact, grieving with hope is a distinctive of the Christian faith.

Recently, I preached on Grieving with Hope from 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18.  In this encouraging passage, the Bible gives us three good reasons why we can find hope even while we grieve the death of someone we loved.

If you could use some encouragement in your own grief, or if you want to be able to help a friend going through a season of grief, you might want to listen to this sermon.
