Linda and I have spent this past week on the West Coast visiting our families. Rick’s mom has recently been through serious ailments and hospitalizations. By God’s grace, she is home from the hospital but still facing a series of follow-up tests. Linda’s mom is doing quite well and it was a joy to spend time with her for several days.
This week at Heritage has been a significant one as we’ve hosted the accreditation team from ABHE (the Association for Biblical Higher Education). We’ve been preparing for this visit for many months and look forward to getting the full report of the team’s findings.

30th Anniversary Banquet: On Saturday evening, October 21st, Heritage will host a celebration dinner in honour of the school’s 30th anniversary. Marvin Brubacher and I have the privilege of speaking to the alumni and friends who attend. Pray that the hearts of all who come may be encouraged as we rejoice in God’s work through the school over the past three decades.
Family Needs: I would ask you to pray for the health needs in the Reed family. Especially, remember Rick’s mom (Joan Reed) at this time.
