For over a decade Linda has been actively involved in teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) as a way of bringing the love and message of Jesus to new Canadians.
Several years ago, Linda worked with Heritage students to design and produce a wonderful ESL teaching resource that is based on the Gospel of John.
Each lesson provides a way for ESL teachers to highlight key elements of English grammar and pronunciation and, at the same time, introduce students to the life-changing message of Jesus through the gospel of John.
We are making this resource available to all ESL teachers free of charge. It’s our desire to see Christians engage with new Canadians so that they not only come to know English, but come to know the Saviour who loves them.

If you would like training to teach or lead an ESL class, Linda is starting a training course at Heritage on Tuesday evening, September 12th. It’s not too late to sign up to join (either in person or online). You can take the course for credit or as an audit.
