As we get ready to celebrate Canada Day, I wanted to send a quick Praise and Prayer Update. Here are some reasons to give thanks and several requests to bring before God’s throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16).
PRAISE:
Fruitful Ministry: Last week I asked you to pray for Linda and me as we had weekend speaking opportunities. The women’s conference where Linda spoke was touched by God’s grace and very impactful for many of the women who attended. I had the privilege of preaching last Sunday at West Highland Baptist Church as they honoured their retiring lead pastor, John Mahaffey. Thank you for praying for us!
Construction Progress. It’s amazing to see the activity on our campus as construction gets underway for the new seminary building. Yesterday, the workers were digging trenches and moving pipes. We can praise the Lord that this project is underway.
PRAYER
Rest and Refreshment: Many of our staff and faculty will get some much-needed rest in the month of July (our quietest month). Pray that our team will be refreshed physically, emotionally, and spiritually. When August arrives, our focus is gearing up for the coming school year. Pray that we will be ready for another year of impactful ministry.
Financial Support: Today is the final day of our fiscal year. Summer is often a time when finances are stretched. Pray that God would move hearts to continue to support the ministry of Heritage College and Seminary
